Things I wish I knew before I tried it
This place has a fine environment with beautiful design curated by talented local Oaxacans. The really good staff, including Rafe and Max, are friendly. Enjoy cocktails by the pool while soaking in amazing views. Just be prepared for a bit of a trek to the city center, as it's a steep hill!

Couple seeking a unique experience
The staff was very nice,, always going out of their way to. One night, Rafael took the time to recommend local eateries that we never would've found on our own, turning our meals into real adventures!
It wasn't cheap,, but honestly, I felt it was acceptable for the quality we received.

Staying at Flavia was a amazing experience with its very nice views and fine decor. I appreciated the beautifully curated environment designed by local talents. While the restaurant had room for improvement, the unique experience made up for any flaws. I'd definitely recommend it for a tranquil retreat!

The fine decor and amazing views created a nice experience. I particularly enjoyed the delicious vegetarian couscous, which stood out during my meals. The remote location made exploring the area somewhat challenging, and accessing the hotel was not as smooth as I had hoped. Nighttime noise from the restaurant detracted from an otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

The balconies in the beautiful rooms provide a fantastic spot to relax and soak in the views. The local artworks throughout the hotel create a unique atmosphere that stands out and adds a personal touch to the experience.
Staying on the lower ground floor is not recommended due to the noise from the restaurant above, which can disrupt early sleep plans. The food, while beautiful, doesn't compare to what you can find at nearby restaurants, feeling more like an attempt at glamour rather than substance. The hotel's location is about a 20-minute trek from the town center, which may be inconvenient for those planning organized activities.

The hotel's location in the mountains offers luxurious serenity and an incredible view. the grounds are well-groomed with exquisite details and aesthetic. the staff's friendly service was exceptional at fulfilling our exclusive needs, making our stay unforgettable. the outdoor swimming pool and garden area were delightful with the soothing sound of nature.
The hotel's distance from the city may be inconvenient for travelers who want to explore Oaxaca, making taxis expensive. the absence of soundproofing in the rooms causes disturbance due to loud music playing upstairs or noisy neighbors, while there may be other minor issues.

Incredible location up in the mountains with stunning views. The attention to detail is phenomenal with impeccable finishes that exude a modern art vibe. The friendly staff offered good service and a delicious breakfast. Loved the fact that we could enjoy the forest and quietness, perfect for an escape from the crowded city. we enjoyed the stunning details of the hotel grounds which was a truly amazing experience.
We couldn't opt for a room on the lower floor level since the soundproofing is abysmal, and the noise from the restaurant above penetrates through the walls. The food was presented beautifully but lacked flavor compared to other restaurants in town, which was a bit disappointing.

The grounds were beautiful with careful attention to detail, creating a great aesthetic. The service was top notch, always responsive whenever we needed something. The view from the hotel was very nice and the location on top of a mountain was fine. The hotel itself was a work of modern art, showcasing Oaxacan designers and landscape architects.
Can't think of anything.
